Shiba Inu ( SHIB), one of the most prominent developers behind meme crypto, suggests that the release date for the much-anticipated SHIB Layer-2 blockchain is close.
Shytoshi Kusama, a pseudonymous programmer, told his 864,000 Twitter followers that Shibarium is coming “very soon.”
“Happy Holidays” to more than half the world. When does Shibarium start? Please be aware that it will soon arrive, but not during a time when people are able to spend time with their families (or New Year’s Party time). Enjoy the next days. Next year is important for humanity.”
Shibarium is a blockchain scaling option that addresses the slow transaction speed of Shiba Inu’s host Ethereum chain ( ETH ). Shibarium may offer new features such as burning SHIB coins, which could increase the asset’s worth.
Shibarium will be using BONE for gas fees. BONE is ShibaSwap’s governance token. It is the native decentralized currency (DEX) for the Shiba Inu Project. BONE allows users and others to vote for upcoming proposals.
The Dogecoin ecosystem (DOG) is also anticipating the release of its own metaverse. ShibaSwap called on its community to make short videos in order to promote the new metaverse. But no release date was announced.
